Il-premessa prinċipali ta’ dan l-istudju tħares lejn kif it-teatru Malti żviluppa f’dawn iż-żminijiet ta’ transizzjoni. Permezz ta’ din is-sensiela ta’ noti qosra, se naqsam xi dati u nqajjem xi ħares mill-passat.
